Why this site is not another explanation of pores
The cluster already publishes a clinical account of the skin surface and of what each device does. Repeating that here would help nobody. This site exists for the sentence a patient actually says in the room — the pores on my nose look bigger than they used to, I have been told they open and close, and I want them gone.
What that changes about the writing
Every guide starts from the patient's question rather than from a device category. The guides separate a genuinely wide opening from one that is filled, from lost firmness and from pitted scarring, because those four are not answered by the same thing. They set out a ladder that begins with gentle cleansing and daily sun protection as genuine rungs, and they say plainly that pores do not open and close and cannot be shrunk permanently.
How it is reviewed
Content is medically reviewed by Tongchun Mao, MD, Deputy Director and Head of Aesthetic Surgery at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The site names no drug brand and no device brand, quotes no dosage and no price, guarantees no outcome, and describes treatment only by category.
What no website can do
It cannot tell you whether the openings you can see are genuinely wide or simply filled, whether the texture you dislike is a pore or a scar, whether your oiliness is ordinary or driven by something that needs treating, or whether the firmness you have lost is enough to change which option is worth considering. Those answers require an examination. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to ask better questions.
